Method of making Dal Papad

Fry Saaji in oil and put it in 2 kg of boiling water and leave it for 3 to 4 days.

Saaji melts quickly by keeping it in the sun and after three to four days when Saaji melts completely, then just take out the clean water from above in another vessel and do this work properly.

Boil cumin seeds in a cup of water and let it soak for four to five hours.

Soak asafoetida in plain water in half a small bowl.

Clean the pulses and get the flour ground and keep it aside.

Filter the water of ring and cumin in the water of saji and filter it in the water of curd saji. After mixing all these things, the water of saji becomes yellow, which is called jot.

Sift the flour in a big vessel and mix salt and black pepper in the flour.

Take 2 kg of andaza flour, mix jot water and knead it hard and knead it well so that the papad turns out good.

Make a 4 inch thick long roll and cut the dough with a thread or a sharp knife.

Keep applying oil on the cut dough so that it does not dry.

After that, roll the papad and dry it in the sun.
